Levonelle contains a hormone fifty times stronger than an ordinary contraceptive pill, and it causes the embryonic baby to abort. No records are kept of who takes it so when complications develop there is no way of tracking the pill back and making anyone responsible. Nor has there ever been any trial on teenagers, who are the main target for free Levonelle. Nobody knows how often girls are taking this powerful steroid, or what it’s doing to them, and nobody cares.
